It was a dark and stormy night. Emily was driving through the desolate countryside, her headlights barely piercing the thick fog that clung to the ground like a ghostly shroud. Her car sputtered and died, leaving her stranded in the middle of nowhere. As she stepped out to check the engine, she heard a faint, eerie whisper in the wind. “Soul… soul…”
Emily’s heart raced as she looked around, but there was nothing in sight. She tried to call for help, but her phone had no signal. Suddenly, she felt a cold breath on the back of her neck. She spun around to see a pair of glowing eyes staring at her from the shadows. The eyes belonged to a tall, gaunt figure with a skeletal face and hollow sockets. It reached out with bony fingers and whispered, “Give me your soul…”
Emily screamed and ran, but the figure moved with unnatural speed, always staying just behind her. She stumbled and fell, and the figure loomed over her, its mouth opening wide. She felt a sharp pain in her chest, and then everything went black.
When she awoke, she was in a hospital bed. The doctors said she had suffered a heart attack. But Emily knew the truth. She had seen the soul – sucker, and she knew it was still out there, waiting for its next victim.
