In the dead of night, the old mansion stood silent and still. But within its walls, something was stirring. Emily had always felt uneasy about the place. At first, she thought it was just a chill, but the shaking grew worse. She could feel something inside her, cold something and malevolent. She tried to scream, but no sound came out. The trembling spread from her toes to her fingers, and she knew she was not alone. The house was alive with spirits, and they had chosen her as their vessel.
