The Chilling Encounter

One stormy night, Emily found herself stranded in the woods. The rain poured down relentlessly, and the wind howled like a banshee. She stumbled upon an old, abandoned cabin, its windows shattered and door creaking ominously. Desperate for shelter, she pushed the door open and stepped inside. The air was thick with dust and the scent of decay.

As she lit a candle, the flickering light revealed eerie shadows dancing on the walls. She heard whispers, soft and sinister, coming from the darkness. Emily’s heart pounded in her chest, but she tried to convince herself it was just the wind. Suddenly, the candle went out, plunging her into pitch-black darkness. She felt a cold breath on the back of her neck, and a voice, low and menacing, whispered, “You shouldn’t have come here.”
